Georgeanne van Helden graduated from the Canadian Mennonite University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Music Comprehensive Degree, studying piano under Shirley Elias. She grew up in Calgary, beginning her piano studies at age five. She completed her ARCT in Piano Performance in August 2015 and her Licentiate Diploma (LRCM) in Piano Performance in January 2017. Georgeanne participated in the Calgary Performing Arts Festival, the Canadian Music Competition, and the Alberta Performing Arts Festival for many years, and attended the Cassa Piano program for 12 years. She has been working as the Office Assistant for Cassa Musical Arts since 2018.

In the spring of 2021, Georgeanne was a dual winner of the 16th annual Verna Mae Janzen Music Competition hosted by the CMU School of Music. She is currently pursuing her Social Work Diploma at Mount Royal University and plans on working with children and families. Georgeanne enjoys playing with her dogs, spending time with her niece and nephew, and cheering for the Calgary Stampeders football team.
